Water Quality & Chemistry

1. Test chlorine levels

2. Test pH balance

3. Test alkalinity

4. Test calcium hardness

5. Test cyanuric acid (stabilizer)

6. Adjust chemicals as needed

7. Add sanitizer (chlorine/liquid/other system)

8. Shock pool if required

 

Surface & Debris Removal

   9. Skim pool surface (leaves,                bugs, debris)

  10. Empty skimmer baskets

  11. Empty pump basket

  12. Check and clean pool cleaner          (if applicable)

 

Pool Cleaning

  13. Brush pool walls

  14. Brush tile line

  15. Brush steps, benches, and                corners

  16. Vacuum pool (manual or                  system check) as needed.

 

Equipment Inspection

  17. Check pump operation &                prime

  18. Check filter pressure &                      condition

  19. Backwash (if needed)

  20. Inspect valves, plumbing,                check for any leaks

  21. Check heater (if present)

  22. Check timers/automation                system

 

23. Final Inspection & Service                Inspect overall pool condition        & report issues (water level,            equipment concerns, repairs            needed)
